Rough Weekend

We got our fence finish with chicken wire around the whole yard except for where our RV pad is. We had family coming over on Nov 1st so I was cleaning the house while Ryan was working on the yard. Ryan came in and asked if I wanted to go with him to the Harley Store so we decided that we would leave Khoa home for a couple of hours to see if he would dig out. Well he dug out and we came home to find that he got out by the RV pad were we didn't put chicken wire because we thought he wouldn't be able to dig because it was close to the cement. We drove around for a couple of hours looking for him. After a while we came back home so we could clean up the house for the company we had coming over. When we got done cleaning the house we went to look for Khoa some more. We couldn't find him and Nikki & Zach were heading over so we went back and ordered pizza. After dinner Memphis (My Nephew) kept saying puppy and what do you know Khoa was in the backyard. He had found his way home (I was impressed because huskies usually run away and can't find there way back home). When he returned he was bleeding so we called the vet and asked if he would be ok or if we would need to take him in. She said that if it was deep she would need him to come in. Well after examining him (Thanks Nikki for examining him) we took him in. When we get there he had actually cut his "Unit" as my mom would say so he had to have surgery. Poor Guy.To make things worse that night I got up at what I thought was 3:00 am but it was really 2:00 am(Time change). I went to the kitchen to get a drink and hear a loud noise. I got back to the bedroom and Ryan had went into the bathroom so I knocked on the door and asked if everything was OK he said yea but it was mumbled so I asked again and he said no. So I open the door to find him sitting on the floor asleep I said Ryan are you ok what happened. He said I'm fine and i told him everything is not fine you are sitting on the bathroom floor. He looks around and relizes that he is on the floor and crawls out of the bathroom onto the bedroom floor. He had some cuts on his back so I told him not to get into bed 'til I cleaned off his back. Needless to say I was supposed to get a extra hour of sleep and I think I lost a couple because of my drama. Everyone is doing fine now. Khoa had to go get his stitches out last Friday, he didn't like that to much so hopefully he won't get out anymore.

Halloween

Every Halloween at work we have a costume competition. I would like to let you know what our team is going to be but then it would ruin the surprise on Halloween day. You'll have to wait for pictures because it's going to be good. Last year I was on a team where we were infamous celebrity's. I was Michael Jackson, Meredeth was OJ Simpson, Kara Welling was Michael Vick and Kevin well he was Martha Stewart. This is the only picture that I have from last year.

Kitchen

Here is a few pictures of our kitchen.

Ryan got the fence done tonight, all we have been waiting on the past couple of weeks was the gates. when we got the gates last week they didn't have hinges. But we got those yesterday at lunch so now I have a fully fenced back yard that Khoa can run around in all day. It will be so nice when I don't have to take him to the babysitters (my moms house). We take Khoa to my moms house so that he won't get loose and so he will have someone to play with, my parents dog Jake. They love to wrestle around (well they use to) Jake has gotten older so he just want to lay there but Khoa is full of energy and wants to run around.

This is Jake and Khoa last winter.

The House is Finally Done

Finally after six months we have moved into our house. It has been a lot of hard work but it has paid off. We had family come over on the weekend so we had to put all of our stuff away. It was kind of stressful but it got the job done fast. I also got to open my birthday present this weekend. Which is a patio set that I got a while ago but never got to open it and put it together. So with the family coming over I had Ryan put them together so we had more seating. The next challenge that Ryan is going to tackling is the fence. Having a dog that needs a yard to run and has had that for the past 8 months it is really hard to tie him up, so we are putting up a fence so he can have a yard to play in.

Here are the pictures
(I will post pictures of the Kitchen and Dining later)

Wedding Madness

Do you ever feel like you never have time to do anything? These past three weeks I have had no time to relax. Not only am I trying to help build a house I have weddings to go to. I had Ryan's Best friends wedding on July 25th and my cousins wedding on July 31st. Those weren't to bad. But in the meantime I am helping plan my aunts wedding which took place on August 8th. That was probably the most hectic of them all just because I was more involved with it. We had a shower on the 6th for her, then a dinner on the 7th and then the wedding on the 8th. We had to meet at Logan Golf Country Club where the dinner/reception was taking place to start decorating. I got my hair done at 8 am (luckily my hair dresser came to the country club to do my hair) then I started putting the centerpieces together which contained a hydrangea, three roses and a calla lily we had to put together 8 big ones and 8 little ones it was a lot of work. After finishing at the country club we made our way over to Bear Lake (where the ceremony took place). We were running a little behind but we made it over there in time to help set up the decorations. It came time to start the wedding but the Justice of the Peace hadn't shown up yet. After making a couple of calls we finally got a hold of him. We got started about an hour later than anticipating. When we got done with all the pictures and cleaning up we came back to the country club. At the country club we ate and danced. When I say danced I mean that I sat in my chair bugging Ryan to come and dance. He wouldn't go dance so I dance in my chair and made everyone laugh because I wouldn't go out to the dance floor. The food at the country club was really good we had vegetables, fruit, salad, chicken, pork and the most important dessert. It was really good. After the dinner we helped clean up. Finally the day was coming to an end we were tired from the long day we had. Here are some pictures of the weddings.

Angie and Dan Colica

August 8, 2008

Angie and Dan on the beach.

These are the centerpieces that I help put together. We had an assembly line I put all the flowers together my sister taped and put some grass in them, my mom put the seashells in them and Callie watered them.

Kristen made the cakes. Boy is she talented. I don't even want to know what my cake would of looked like. This is the Grooms cake. If you can't tell it is Darth Vader.

This is the masterpiece. The sandcastle. The top and bottom layers were real cake and the other was styrofoam. I have to say that it looks pretty cool. The seashells that are on the table are made of white chocolate and of coarse the sand is graham crackers.

This is Breanne and me after the ceremony. I had some trouble with my dress earlier but luckily my great aunt Jolene could sew because she stitched me into my dress so nothing would show.

These are her bridesmaids that she had Michelle, Me, Angie, Callie and Breanne. She also had two flower girls Mikelle and Nicole. Dont we look beautiful.
